high end graphic cards consume lots of power, this could be a waste of money while it is not used for gaming.
i have an ati radeon hd 5750, and not a all-time gamer, so to save power , i bought a low end graphic card, ati radeon hd 5450 to use while i am just roaming internet and watching movies.
according to review, hd 5450 only use 16 watt, compared to hd 5750 which use around 80 watt of power.
so whenever i want to play high details game, i will change the graphic card. so i can save a lot of money in a year, i can even buy new graphic card with this saving.
