Some people , maybe most of people would be disturbed if getting too many ads from prepaid provider such as Airtel and vodafone, especially from calling advertisement. after answering phone you would hear some song etc. i’m one of airtel user.
after searching for some time, here is the step to stop those unnecessary ads.
STEP ONE, Registration:
Register your telephone number in NDNC Registry.
Call 1909(toll-free) from your Airtel Mobile or Landline Phone
or
SMS “START DND” to 1909 from your Airtel Mobile
STEP TWO,
Register to Airtel ‘Do Not Disturb list’ by entering this address
for prepaid http://www.airtel.in/applications/dnd/DND_mobile.jsp
landline http://www.airtel.in/applications/dnd/DND_landline.jsp
go to the address and fill the required field.
For prepaid user, after submitting your number to the web, it will give you one sms with 4 digit code.
this will take some time, just wait about 5-10 minutes.
then enter the code in the required field in the web.
the web will give u this message
“Your reference number for Registering on NDNC is A1018707xxx. All promotional communication to your Airtel mobile should stop within 45 days from now.”
thats all, enjoy your day with ads free phone.
